We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Associate to join our growing logistics team in Richmond, Virginia. In this essential role, you will contribute to the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. We are looking for individuals who are dependable, detail-oriented, and have a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. You will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing warehouse equipment and adhering to established procedures. Your accuracy in handling inventory and fulfilling orders directly impacts our customer satisfaction and operational success. Teamwork and a proactive approach are highly valued in this position.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, and stock incoming merchandise.
- Accurately pick items from inventory to fulfill customer orders.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all company safety guidelines and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Perform inventory cycle counts and assist with stocktaking.
- Support the overall logistics flow of the warehouse.
- Must be able to perform lifting of up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a warehouse or related field is a strong asset.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and basic logistics principles.
- Ability to use RF scanners and other warehouse technology.
- Physical capacity to stand, walk, lift, bend, and carry materials throughout the shift.
- Must be willing to wear required PPE at all times.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent work ethic and punctuality.
