Join our team as a Warehouse Associate in the heart of New York City, New York. This role is integral to the efficient operation of our distribution center, supporting all aspects of warehouse management. You will be responsible for receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. We are looking for reliable, motivated individuals with a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. This is a fast-paced logistics environment where accuracy and speed are essential. You will handle a variety of products, utilizing warehouse equipment and technology. Your attention to detail will ensure that our inventory is managed correctly and that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and stock incoming inventory.
- Pick and pack orders accurately based on customer requests.
- Use scanning equipment and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated warehouse areas.
- Load and unload materials safely.
- Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Be prepared for lifting up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to operate pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and stoop throughout the shift.
- Must wear appropriate PPE, including safety shoes and vests.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and follow instructions.
- Reliable and punctual attendance is crucial.
