Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Worker in Baltimore, Maryland, where you'll be an essential part of our thriving logistics operations. This role encompasses a broad spectrum of warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods. We are looking for individuals who are dependable, possess strong organizational skills, and are deeply committed to ensuring a safe working environment. Experience with warehouse machinery, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, is highly desirable. Your contribution is vital to maintaining the integrity of our supply chain and ensuring timely delivery of products to our customers. You will work alongside a dedicated team, collaborating to meet operational targets and uphold our standards of excellence. Your diligence in handling materials and maintaining an orderly workspace will be highly valued.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory.
- Efficiently pick and pack orders according to customer requirements.
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload freight from trucks.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock checks.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Strictly adhere to all safety protocols and wear the required PPE.
- Participate in warehouse improvement initiatives and assist in maintaining smooth logistics flow.
- Must be capable of consistent lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Certification or experience operating forklifts is a significant advantage.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems and logistics principles.
- Excellent physical condition with the ability to perform demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended hours.
- Willingness to comply with all safety requirements, including the use of PPE.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and maintaining a safe workplace.
