Job Summary:
We are looking for a diligent Material Handler to join our busy warehouse facility in Orlando, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for the movement, storage, and tracking of materials throughout the warehouse. Your attention to detail and ability to operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently will be crucial. Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move inventory.
  • Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
  • Store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
  • Transport materials between different areas of the warehouse as directed.
  • Perform regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Assist with inventory control and cycle counting activities.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, adhering to all Safety protocols.
  • Follow proper procedures for handling hazardous materials if applicable.
  • Support the broader Logistics team by ensuring materials are readily available for order fulfillment.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role.
  • Valid forklift certification is a strong asset.
  • Proficiency in operating various types of material handling equipment.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and Lifting up to 70 pounds.
  • Understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management principles.
  • Willingness to use required PPE , such as safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed boots.
  • Strong commitment to safety and adherence to all guidelines.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
