We are seeking dynamic Distribution Center Associates to join our team in Sacramento, California. This role is fundamental to the efficient operation of our warehouse, involving a variety of tasks that keep our logistics moving smoothly. You will be involved in receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods, contributing to a seamless supply chain. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory accurately.
- Pick and pack orders according to specific customer requirements.
- Prepare shipments for delivery, ensuring all items are correctly accounted for and labeled.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners (training provided for certified tasks).
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the distribution center floor.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stocktaking.
- Strictly follow all safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Identify and report any safety hazards or operational issues to management.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring consistent physical exertion, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency in basic math and computer skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance targets.
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
- Must be committed to maintaining a safe working environment and following all safety protocols.
- Flexibility to work different shifts as required.
