Our logistics company in Cincinnati, Ohio, is looking for a dedicated Material Handler to support our warehouse operations. In this role, you will be integral to the efficient flow of goods, from receiving raw materials to staging finished products for shipment. Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking inventory, organizing materials, and preparing orders for dispatch. This position requires considerable physical exertion, including frequent lifting of items weighing up to 75 lbs, extensive walking, standing for long hours, and operating warehouse equipment. A keen eye for detail and a strong emphasis on safety are vital. You will be trained on operating equipment such as pallet jacks and potentially forklifts. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace is a key expectation to ensure operational efficiency and safety. We seek reliable and proactive individuals who can work effectively both independently and collaboratively. Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is advantageous. Comprehensive training on our procedures and strict adherence to safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), will be provided. Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials.
- Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or in designated storage areas.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks.
- Use equipment such as pallet jacks to move inventory.
- Identify and report damaged goods or discrepancies.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment.
- Follow all logistics and safety protocols, including the use of PPE.
- Pack and prepare products for shipping.
- Support other warehouse functions as needed.
