You will be responsible for accurately picking products from warehouse shelves based on order lists and then carefully packing them for shipment. We seek individuals who are precise, fast, and dedicated to ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate possesses excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the physical stamina required for this role, which includes significant standing, walking, and regular lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Safety is paramount in our operations, and all team members must strictly adhere to safety regulations and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order tickets.
- Verify picked items against order details for accuracy.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Ensure all packages are properly labeled and ready for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing station and work area.
- Assist with receiving and stocking inventory as needed.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment.
- Adhere to all company safety rules and procedures.
- Participate in inventory control processes, such as cycle counts.
- Contribute to improving the efficiency of the picking and packing process.
- Perform frequent lifting and moving of products and boxes.
- Consistently use the required PPE throughout the shift to maintain safety.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker, packer, or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Proficient in lifting and moving items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Team player with effective communication abilities.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
