We are seeking dedicated Distribution Center Associates to join our large-scale facility in Los Angeles, California. In this role, you will be a critical link in our supply chain, responsible for the efficient processing of goods. Your duties will include receiving, inspecting, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping a wide variety of products. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The ideal candidate is adaptable, able to work in a fast-paced setting, and comfortable with tasks involving physical exertion, including frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Adherence to all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is essential. Join our team and contribute to the seamless operation of our logistics network.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments accurately.
- Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies.
- Stock products in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick items based on order specifications.
- Pack orders securely for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, including labeling and staging.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse.
- Follow all safety guidelines and company policies strictly.
- Participate in inventory management activities.
- Perform consistent lifting and movement of goods throughout the shift.
- Ensure full compliance with all safety regulations and PPE requirements.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Team-oriented and able to communicate effectively.
- Willingness to adhere to all safety procedures and use PPE.
