The role involves some lifting of packages and requires the ability to handle materials safely. A strong understanding of shipping software and procedures is a plus. Responsibilities:
- Generate shipping labels and documentation for all outgoing orders.
- Verify shipment contents against order details for accuracy.
- Schedule and coordinate pick-ups with various shipping carriers.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and logs.
- Inspect packages for damage before shipment.
- Communicate with internal teams and external carriers regarding shipment status.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and use required PPE.
- Assist with loading and unloading of trucks as needed.
