We are seeking a proactive Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our dynamic logistics team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. You will be responsible for managing incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, and preparing outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently. Your organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting our overall supply chain operations. Safety is paramount, and we expect all employees to strictly follow established safety procedures and guidelines. This position involves physical tasks, including standing, walking, and significant lifting of materials. We provide all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure your well-being and a safe working environment. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming freight.
- Verify received goods against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Document all incoming and outgoing shipments accurately.
- Prepare outbound shipments, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping and receiving area.
- Coordinate with carriers for pick-ups and deliveries.
- Comply with all Safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with inventory management and stockroom organization.
This role involves frequent lifting of items up to 60 lbs. A strong emphasis on Safety and proper lifting techniques is required. Your role is critical to our efficient logistics.
