We are actively hiring Picker/Packers for our facility in Columbus, Ohio. This role is fundamental to our order fulfillment process, demanding accuracy and efficiency in selecting and preparing items for shipment. You will be responsible for picking orders accurately from warehouse shelves and meticulously packing them for safe transit. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items according to order lists or scanning devices.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Stage packed orders for pickup by shipping carriers.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and warehouse area.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment as needed.
- Ensure all required PPE is worn correctly throughout the shift.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous picking and packing experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 40 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of Safety protocols in a warehouse environment.
- Fast-paced work ethic.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Willingness to comply with all PPE requirements.
