Our Philadelphia, Pennsylvania facility is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to join our dedicated team. This role is critical to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory, which is vital for our logistics operations. You will be responsible for managing inventory levels, conducting cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, and ensuring that all inventory movements are accurately recorded in our system. A strong emphasis on safety and adherence to proper handling procedures is expected. This position may involve some lifting of inventory items and requires attention to detail. We provide all necessary PPE to ensure a safe working environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with inventory management systems, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Responsibilities include:
- Performing regular cycle counts and inventory audits.
- Investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records in the WMS.
- Monitoring stock levels and initiating replenishment as needed.
- Assisting with physical inventory counts.
- Ensuring proper storage and organization of inventory.
- Implementing and enforcing inventory control policies and procedures.
