Become a Picker/Packer in our busy Orlando, Florida warehouse! This role is fundamental to our logistics success, focusing on accurately and efficiently fulfilling customer orders. You will be tasked with locating items within the warehouse, meticulously picking them according to order specifications, and then carefully packing them for safe transit. Attention to detail is crucial to minimize errors and ensure customer satisfaction. This dynamic environment requires adherence to strict Safety standards, including the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The role also involves physical activity, including tasks that require moderate Lifting. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists.
- Inspect products for damage or defects.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Verify order accuracy before completing the pick/pack process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all Safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Operate hand trucks or pallet jacks as needed.
- Contribute to team productivity and overall logistics goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a picking or packing role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform tasks involving moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse Safety procedures and the use of PPE.
