Join our growing logistics team as an Order Picker in Grand Rapids, Michigan! We are looking for motivated individuals to accurately and efficiently pick customer orders. Your role is critical to our supply chain, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to our customers. You will be responsible for using RF scanners to locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves, verifying quantities, and preparing them for packing and shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items according to order requirements using RF scanning technology.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Transport picked items to designated staging or packing areas.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and warehouse procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and stock checks.
- Support the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
- Tasks involve consistent movement, standing, and careful lifting.
- Ensure all picked items are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to a supervisor immediately.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse setting is a strong plus.
- Ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining high accuracy standards.
- Proficiency with handheld scanners and basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Understanding of warehouse safety regulations and general logistics.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Willingness to wear required PPE at all times.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
