We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our operations in St. Louis, Missouri. This leadership position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse activity, including managing staff, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining a strong focus on Safety. You will direct the workflow for receiving, warehousing, and distribution, aiming to maximize productivity and minimize errors. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership capabilities, a thorough understanding of logistics operations, and a commitment to fostering a positive and productive work environment. Your ability to motivate a team, solve problems effectively, and ensure compliance with all Safety regulations will be paramount to success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse associates to ensure high performance.
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Implement and enforce all Safety policies and procedures, ensuring the proper use of PPE and safe equipment operation.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and ensure accuracy.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for maximum efficiency.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain productivity metrics and report on warehouse performance.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and industry regulations related to logistics.
- Must be able to manage tasks that involve physical responsibilities, including directing efforts related to significant Lifting.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a Warehouse Supervisor or similar leadership role.
- Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, and supply chain management.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery.
- Thorough understanding of Safety regulations and experience implementing Safety programs.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certifications are a plus.
- Capacity to handle responsibilities that require physical oversight, including Lifting directives.
