Join our team as a Warehouse Associate in Washington, D.C.! We are looking for hardworking and reliable individuals to support our daily warehouse operations. This role is fundamental to our logistics infrastructure, encompassing tasks such as receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods. You will be instrumental in maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse environment, contributing to the timely delivery of products. The ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethic, can handle physical demands including moderate Lifting, and prioritizes safety. We are committed to providing a secure workplace, and adherence to safety protocols and the use of PPE is mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming stock and materials.
- Pick and fill orders from stock with accuracy.
- Pack and prepare orders for shipping.
- Sort and place materials or products on racks, shelves, or in bins according to designated locations.
- Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts.
- Operate warehouse equipment like pallet jacks and dollies, as needed.
- Follow all safety guidelines, including proper Lifting procedures and the mandatory use of PPE.
- Support the overall logistics flow of the distribution center.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse operations and safety procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules as operational needs dictate.
