We are looking for a motivated Order Picker to join our state-of-the-art facility in Portland, Oregon. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment. This role is essential to our logistics and fulfillment process, ensuring that our customers receive their products on time and in perfect condition. You will work with a variety of products, utilizing scanning equipment and manual processes to fulfill orders. A keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic are paramount in this position. We prioritize safety above all else, and all team members are expected to adhere to strict safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using a voice-picking system, RF scanner, or pick list.
- Inspect products for damage and ensure correct quantities are picked.
- Pack orders securely for shipment, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Stage picked orders for outbound shipping.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure order accuracy and product integrity.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper Lifting techniques and the use of required PPE.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment within our logistics operations.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience preferred.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Proficiency with RF scanners and other warehouse technology is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform repetitive Lifting tasks, up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- A commitment to excellent customer service and team collaboration in a logistics setting.
