We are looking for dedicated Distribution Center Associates to join our growing team in Des Moines, Iowa. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our distribution center. Your responsibilities will include receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. You will be a key player in our supply chain, contributing to customer satisfaction through timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders.
- Stock and organize inventory within the warehouse.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, as needed.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure product integrity.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety regulations and procedures, including the use of required PPE .
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production goals.
- Assist with shipping and receiving documentation.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is advantageous.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical stamina, including frequent Lifting of up to 60 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Commitment to workplace Safety .
- Understanding of Logistics and inventory principles is a plus.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
