Join our leading logistics company as a Forklift Operator in San Jose, California! We are seeking experienced and certified individuals to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to support our warehouse operations. Your primary responsibilities will include loading and unloading trucks, moving inventory, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods throughout the facility. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and unstack materials.
- Load and unload products from trucks and trailers.
- Transport inventory to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring clear pathways.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist in inventory counts and maintaining accurate stock levels.
- Support overall logistics operations and team goals.
- Operate other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Ensure timely and accurate movement of goods to meet production and shipping schedules.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience operating forklifts.
- Valid forklift certification is required.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring physical stamina, including Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
- Understanding of logistics principles is beneficial.
