Our growing logistics operation in Boise, Idaho, is looking for motivated Picker/Packers to join our warehouse team. As a Picker/Packer, you will be instrumental in fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently. This role involves navigating the warehouse to locate and pick specific items based on order tickets, carefully packing these items for shipment, and preparing them for dispatch. Precision and speed are key to success in this position. You will be responsible for ensuring that the correct products are picked, that they are packed securely to prevent damage during transit, and that all shipments are correctly labeled. Maintaining a high level of accuracy in both picking and packing is critical for customer satisfaction. Compliance with all safety procedures, including the use of appropriate PPE, is non-negotiable. This physically demanding role requires consistent lifting and moving of products, contributing to the smooth flow of goods within our logistics network.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Inspect picked items for quality and damage before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages accurately for shipment.
- Operate handheld scanners and other warehouse technology.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Meet established productivity and accuracy standards.
- Assist with other warehouse functions, such as inventory checks or stock rotation, as needed.
Qualifications:
Experience as a picker/packer or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous. Ability to read and understand order forms and product labels. Must be able to perform tasks involving frequent lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Strong attention to detail is essential for accuracy. Commitment to safety protocols within a busy logistics environment.
