Seeking a certified Reach Truck Operator for our state-of-the-art facility in Baltimore, Maryland. In this role, you will operate a reach truck to efficiently move, locate, relocate, stack, and count inventory. Your expertise in operating this equipment safely is vital to our warehouse operations and logistics flow. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and operational efficiency for all our team members.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a reach truck to move and store palletized goods.
- Load and unload trucks and containers with precision and care.
- Transport inventory to and from various locations within the warehouse.
- Perform routine checks on the reach truck to ensure safe operation.
- Accurately pick and stage orders for shipment.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and established safety procedures within the logistics center.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating a reach truck, with a valid certification.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) when necessary.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and equipment operation.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Commitment to a strong safety culture is essential.
