Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Picker/Packer to join our busy warehouse in Nashville, Tennessee. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately fulfilling customer orders by picking items from warehouse shelves and carefully packing them for shipment. This is a critical function in our logistics operations, directly impacting customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, and committed to maintaining a safe work environment. You will work with various picking and packing equipment and must adhere to all Safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a knack for accuracy, this role is for you.
Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order lists or RF scanner data.
  • Inspect products for quality and damage before packing.
  • Carefully pack items into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring proper cushioning and presentation.
  • Generate and apply shipping labels and documentation.
  • Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse organization.
  • Adhere to all Safety procedures and guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE.
  • Assist with receiving and stocking duties when necessary.
  • Meet established productivity and accuracy standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient order fulfillment and logistics flow.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in picking and packing or warehouse operations is preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand order fulfillment documents.
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Familiarity with warehouse Safety practices and the importance of PPE.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
