Ironton Animal Hospital is a full service veterinary hospital located in Lincoln County just outside of Lincolnton in Iron Station, NC. It is our commitment to provide quality veterinary care for our clients pets.. We are looking for someone to join our family oriented team. Our doctors work 4.5 days a week. No emergencies or weekend.
We currently use Cornerstone but are transitioning to go paperless using Ezyvet.
*Responsibilities*
* Provide comprehensive veterinary care to dogs and cats, ensuring their health and well-being.
* Perform routine examinations and diagnose illnesses using veterinary terminology and knowledge of animal physiology.
* Administer vaccinations, medications, and treatments as needed.
* Utilize animal handling and restraint techniques to ensure safe interactions.
* Maintain accurate medical records and communicate effectively with pet owners about care and treatment options.
*Qualifications*
* Veterinary experience with a strong understanding of animal physiology and anatomy
* Proficient in veterinary terminology and animal handling techniques
* Knowledge of aseptic techniques and laboratory procedures
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $130,000.00 per year

* Iron Station, NC (Preferred)
