*Overview*
Pender Pediatric Therapy is a growing, clinician-owned private practice in Southeast NC. We are seeking to add skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologists to join our team. With clinics in Wilmington, Hampstead, Burgaw, and Supply, NC, you can live and work near the beach!
Our SLPs provide services to children (birth-12) and families in New Hanover, Pender, and Brunswick counties in our clinics, public and private schools, homes, and childcare settings. At Pender Pediatric Therapy, we strive to treat the whole child, with functionality being a top priority using child-led and family-first approaches. Ideal candidates will be energetic, positive, have an open-mind to cultural differences, and be able to work on a team.
PPT Speech Language Pathologists have opportunities to grow their skills across many settings. SLPs will evaluate, develop and implement treatment plans, provide parent support, and guide patient growth along the course of therapy. Full administrative support is available at Pender Pediatric Therapy!
Currently, we are looking to hire 3 SLPs
-Burgaw: Full Time, Full Caseload ready to go! Late January/Early February state date.
-Supply: Full time, Full Caseload ready to go! Mid March start date. Maternity leave coverage with the option to stay on Full Time after!
-Wilmington/Hampstead split. Start date ASAP!
*Responsibilities*
* Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans
* Provide evidence-based speech therapy interventions for patients with communication disorders, including articulation, language, fluency, and feeding/swallowing needs
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal treatment outcomes
* Educate patients and their families on strategies to improve communication skills and manage speech or language challenges
* Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and session notes in compliance with healthcare regulations
* Stay current with advancements in speech-language pathology practices, including early intervention techniques and pediatrics-specific therapies
* Participate in ongoing professional development activities and contribute to team meetings to enhance service quality
*Experience*
* Experience in pediatrics, early intervention programs, or school-based environments is preferred
* Proven background in speech therapy across diverse patient populations, including those with developmental delays or neurological conditions
* Skilled in patient assessment techniques to accurately diagnose speech and language disorders
* Familiarity with patient care protocols that support effective communication therapy and rehabilitation efforts
Pay: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36.0 per week
