Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay range$75.00/hr - $80.00/hrDirect message the job poster from Aditi ConsultingDesign and development of advanced electrical systems and circuits for computer systems, specifically peripheral systems such as storage media, memory, power systems, and high-speed data interfaces.Focus on cutting-edge technologies like artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and accelerated compute platforms.End-to-end responsibility, from creating technical specifications and component selection to schematic capture, PCB layout oversight, test planning, and manufacturing support.Technical leadership and collaboration across cross-functional teams—including designers, manufacturing engineers, customers, and project managers—to ensure product quality, manufacturability, and reliability.Development of high-speed data signal circuitry, including integration of Gigabit Ethernet switches and PAM4 SERDES cores.Managing project aspects beyond technical design, such as schedules, budgets, and documentation.Engagement with suppliers, customers, and contractors to coordinate and support the delivery of electrical systems.Strategic technology deployment and global coordination for engineering programs.Team Technical Stack:Hardware & Circuitry: High-speed data interface circuitry (e.g., Gigabit Ethernet switches, PAM4 SERDES cores)Peripheral systems: storage media, memory, power systems Rack-based networking switches and accelerated compute platformsProtocols & Interfaces: High-speed serial data protocols: SPI, I2C, USB Optical transceivers: SFP, OSFP, QFSP NRZ modulation (desired)Design & Development Tools: Schematic capture and PCB layout tools (likely tools such as Cadence Allegro, Mentor Graphics, or similar)Must have skills for this role:Expertise in high-speed serial data protocols like SPI, I2C, and USB Experience designing with optical transceivers (SFP, OSFP, QFSP) Strong knowledge of high-speed data interface circuitry, including Gigabit Ethernet and PAM4 SERDES coresProven skills in schematic capture, PCB layout oversight, and BOM creation Ability to perform high-speed signal simulation, board bring-up, and hardware validation Deep understanding of hardware design, prototyping, reliability, and failure analysisPay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $75.00 - $80.00 per hour. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
