Position Overview

A leading fashion company in the Greater Montreal area is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize all aspects of global logistics and distribution. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, solutions-driven leader with deep experience in import/export, 3PL management, transportation, customs compliance , and working with major big-box retailers such as Costco, Walmart, and Giant Tiger.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, ideally in the fashion, apparel, or consumer goods industry.
  • Strong knowledge of import/export regulations, customs procedures, duty drawback , and cross-border compliance.
  • Experience managing 3PL operations and working with big-box retailers.
  • Advanced understanding of transportation modes, Incoterms, and global freight operations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and vendor-management skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities and proficiency in logistics systems, Excel, and reporting tools.
  • Bilingual (English/French) is an asset.


Key Responsibilities

Import & Export Management

  • Oversee all international inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations, documentation accuracy, and timely clearances.
  • Manage duty drawback processes and identify opportunities for cost recovery.

3PL, Warehousing & Distribution

  • Manage relationships with 3PL partners to ensure performance, accuracy, and service quality.
  • Monitor warehouse operations, inbound/outbound scheduling, and inventory flow.
  • Implement KPIs, service-level metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
