Position Overview
The WFLI Project Manager is responsible for the successful planning, monitoring, and execution of projects within the Water for Life Initiative. This includes proposal preparation, project design, tracking, budgeting, report writing, communication and other relevant project logistics. Working with the Donor Advancement team and the WFLI Operations and Administration Manager, the WFLI Project Manager will be the key liaison for project stakeholders.
About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible to achieve the following objectives:
WFLI Project Management (60%):
- Projects are effectively led from implementation to completion, and are on time and on budget
- Project status and outcomes are regularly reported and updated to all relevant stakeholders
- All project details are executed, including project tracking, budgeting, reporting writing, communication, logistics, etc.
- Project budgets are managed in line with agreed-upon budgets, including ongoing review of actual expenses vs. plan
- Monitor monthly and quarterly ministry metrics to ensure they are in line with expected outcomes
WFLI Programs (20%):
- Oversight is given to the Monitoring & Evaluation program throughout WFLI
- Data collection process is supervised with indicators being actively reviewed to ensure program effectiveness
- Regular reporting is provided on sustainability of the WFLI program quarterly and through the annual sustainability report
- In coordination with the entire WFLI team, identify opportunities for integrating church mobilization and WASH programming, and determine action plans for those opportunities
WFLI Donor Fulfillment (10%):
- Assists with proposal development and grant applications for WFLI projects
- Assist Donor Advancement team with providing fulfillment (pictures and stories) for active projects
Other responsibilities:
- Engagement in WFLI team meetings and appropriate WFLI Country Meetings
- Engagement in weekly Prayer meeting, bi-weekly GAiN Staff meeting,weekly P2C chapel, annual Team Huddle (June 2026)
- Other duties may be assigned on a temporary basis according to ministry needs.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor degree plus 2 years working in a Relief and Development Ministry or other related industry/ministry experience in an international development setting
- 1-2 years of project management experience

- Able to work from a Google Suite platform
- Quickly able to adapt in a cross-cultural setting and in working with government officials
- Technical skills/aptitude would be considered an asset
- Able to travel internationally (hold or can obtain a valid passport) and perform in a variety of cross-cultural settings
