**
* Lead the planning, deployment, and management of complex network architectures including LAN (Local Area Network), WAN (Wide Area Network), SAN (Storage Area Network), and cloud-based solutions such as AWS and Azure.
* Oversee network security protocols by configuring and maintaining firewalls like Cisco ASA, implementing VPNs using IPsec, SSL, and remote access software to ensure secure data transmission.
* Manage network infrastructure components including routers (Cisco routers, Juniper), switches, load balancers, RAID controllers, and SAN storage systems to guarantee optimal performance and high availability.
* Conduct regular vulnerability assessments utilizing tools like SolarWinds, Splunk, PRTG, and network monitoring solutions to identify and remediate security threats proactively.
* Implement system hardening practices across operating systems such as Windows, Linux (Debian, CentOS, Ubuntu), BSD variants, Solaris, and macOS to enhance security posture.
* Automate routine tasks using scripting languages like Bash (Unix shell scripting), PowerShell, Python, and configuration management tools such as Ansible for efficient system administration.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams employing Agile methodologies to support network installation projects, SDLC processes, and DevOps initiatives ensuring seamless integration within IT infrastructure.
**
* Proven experience managing enterprise-level computer networking environments with a strong understanding of routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, EIGRP; network protocols including TCP/IP; and concepts like high availability and load balancing.
* Extensive background in network security management—configuring firewalls (Cisco ASA), IDS/IPS systems, LDAP/Active Directory integration, PKI (Public Key Infrastructure), SSO (Single Sign-On), encryption standards like SSL/TLS—and performing vulnerability assessments.
* Hands-on expertise with virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere/ESXi and Citrix; experience with SAN/NFS storage solutions; familiarity with cloud services like AWS or Azure for hybrid cloud architectures.
* Strong knowledge of network management tools including SolarWinds, SolarWinds NPM/NCM; monitoring solutions like PRTG; remote access software; DNS/DHCP configuration; GPO management; and network installation procedures.
* Demonstrated ability to develop comprehensive disaster recovery plans utilizing BGP/MPLS networks; implement system hardening techniques; manage network architecture design; and support DevOps workflows through scripting and automation.
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred; professional certifications such as Cisco CCNP/CCIE, CompTIA Security+, or VMware certifications are highly advantageous. Pay: $120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
