We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic logistics team in Indianapolis, Indiana. In this role, you will be instrumental in the smooth operation of our warehouse, contributing to efficient inventory management and timely order fulfillment. Your responsibilities will include receiving, processing, and organizing incoming stock, as well as picking, packing, and shipping outgoing orders with precision. This is a physically demanding position that requires consistent effort and attention to detail. You will be expected to maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhere to all safety protocols, and operate warehouse equipment as needed. Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential for success in this fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Stock and organize inventory accurately on shelves or designated areas.
- Pick and pack customer orders according to specified requirements.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring correct labeling and documentation.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery safely (if certified).
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Commitment to Safety and adherence to all Safety guidelines.
