Position Overview We are seeking an experienced
Sales Director
to lead our UK & European sales operations from our Aylesbury-based headquarters. This role will focus on driving growth in the packaging sector, developing strategic partnerships, and managing a high-performing sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in packaging or related industries and a proven ability to deliver results in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a sales strategy tailored to the packaging industry
Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing sales team
Identify new business opportunities and expand Enercon’s market share
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners
Collaborate with marketing, operations, and product development teams
Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions
Provide accurate forecasts, reports, and KPIs to senior leadership
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum 8+ years of progressive sales experience, including 3+ years in leadership roles
Proven success in packaging or related manufacturing sectors
Strong understanding of UK & European packaging market dynamics and compliance requirements
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
Proficient in CRM systems and sales reporting
Based within 60 minutes of Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
Willing to travel 30-50% of the time in UK & mainland Europe
