About AIM
Accurate Indigenous Management & Advisors (AIM) is a 100% Indigenous-owned organization that supports First Nations through financial administration, community-based projects, capacity building, emergency management planning, and organizational development.
We work closely with First Nations leadership, program managers, and community members. We are looking for a Project Manager who brings experience working with Indigenous governments, communities, or organizations, and who can support culturally grounded project coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver community and organizational projects (financial, HR, training, governance, and emergency management focused).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with First Nations leadership, clients, and partners.
- Track deliverables, budgets, tasks, and timelines; monitor risks and report updates.
- Prepare project reports, presentations, proposals, and funding compliance documents.
- Facilitate meetings, take minutes, and maintain organized project records.
- Work collaboratively across AIM teams to support community needs and priorities.
Qualifications / What You Bring
Required:
- 2–4 years experience in project coordination, project management, community development, or related work.
- Experience working with Indigenous communities, councils, organizations, or programs (required for this posting).
- Strong communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Experience with project management tools (Excel, Smartsheet, Asana, MS Teams, etc.).
Assets:
- Diploma or degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Social Services, or related field.
- Lived Indigenous experience (First Nations, Métis, Inuit).
- Experience working in a small Indigenous-owned business environment.
Compensation & Work Conditions
- Pay: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour (based on experience)
- Full-time, on-site position
