Senior Data Analyst

The Senior Data Analyst will play a key role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across the business. This role involves advanced analytics, stakeholder engagement, and the generation of insights to support commercial and operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities

• Data Analysis & Insight Generation
  • Analyse large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
  • Deliver actionable insights that influence business strategy and performance.
• Reporting & Visualisation
  • Own and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using tools such as Looker or Power BI.
  • Ensure data accuracy and clarity in all reporting outputs.
• Stakeholder Engagement
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate them into analytical solutions.
  • Present findings in a clear, compelling manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Advanced Analytics
  • Apply analytical techniques and methodologies to understand cohort behaviour and segment users.
  • Drive innovation in analytics processes and methodologies.
• Data Governance
  • Ensure compliance with data quality standards and governance frameworks.
  • Support continuous improvement of data processes.

Skills & Experience

• Essential
  • Strong analytical and insight generation skills, with 4+ years of experience in analytics roles.
  • High proficiency in SQL and data visualisation tools (Power BI, Looker etc.).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Detail-oriented problem solver with a focus on delivering high-quality outputs.
• Desirable
  • Experience with Python for advanced analytics.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Background in web analytics or customer insights.
