Job Summary:
We are seeking enthusiastic Warehouse Associates to join our Des Moines, Iowa facility. This role is integral to our logistics operations, contributing to the efficient and accurate handling of goods. As a Warehouse Associate, you will perform a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders. You will work within a team environment, utilizing various warehouse equipment and adhering to strict safety guidelines. Your ability to work efficiently, maintain accuracy, and prioritize safety is crucial. Responsibilities:
  • Receive and process incoming stock and materials.
  • Pack and prepare orders for shipment.
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins.
  • Read orders and follow them for pick/pack accuracy.
  • Operate and maintain warehouse equipment safely.
  • Ensure a clean and organized work environment.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
  • Participate in inventory counts and stock checks.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily goals.
  • Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry throughout the shift.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Familiarity with warehouse equipment is beneficial.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules and overtime.
  • Commitment to safety protocols and proper PPE usage.
  • Understanding of basic logistics concepts is a plus.
