Full Time Days To provide safe and effective nursing care to all patients utilizing the nursing process. The Nursing Supervisor also is responsible for the direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care hospital wide. Coordinate all hospital activities in the absence of Department Directors. The Nursing Supervisor functions as a direct liaison between the physician, hospital staff, and community in regard to the coordination and appropriateness of acute hospital admissions. WBMC offers general medical and surgical care, orthopedics, a robotic surgery program, a state-of-the art breast imaging center, womens and childrens services and the only level III NICU in southern Palm Beach County. Its two emergency centers, one at the main hospital and the other in Coconut Creek, are open 24-hours a day. Graduate of an RN program. Three to five years of Nursing Practice with the progressive & proven management and leadership experience. Bachelor degree of Nursing. Required: Two years clinical and one year supervision experience. ED or ICU preferred. Required: Active Florida RN license, ACLS, & BLS. Other Qualifications: Successful completion of WBMC yearly competencies specific to unit. #
