  • Support the Warehouse Manager and Assistant Warehouse Manager in maintaining appropriate stock levels by identifying low or overstock items and communicating ordering needs based on forecasts and usage.
  • Ensure warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, carts, forklifts as operated by trained staff) is used safely and that deficiencies are reported and escalated for repair; reinforce safe material-handling practices.
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and adherence to food safety and health and safety standards, ensuring staff follow cleaning schedules and procedures.
  • Identify and communicate product discrepancies, damages, or losses to management; assist in investigating and resolving issues.
  • Ensure all staff comply with health, safety, and food safety regulations; promote a safety culture by identifying hazards, taking corrective action, and escalating issues where necessary.
  • Train and coach warehouse staff on procedures, safety requirements, equipment usage (within bargaining-unit boundaries), inventory practices, and documentation standards.
  • Support completion and accuracy of warehouse documentation and logs by staff, including receiving records, transfer forms, temperature logs (if applicable), and inventory records.
  • Coordinate with Concessions, Vending, Premium, and Culinary departments to support efficient event operations and timely fulfilment of product requests.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and coordinate multiple activities and demands.
  • Excellent attention to detail, particularly regarding inventory accuracy, documentation, and compliance with procedures.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for providing instructions, coaching staff, and liaising with management and other departments.
  • Solid understanding of warehouse workflows, inventory movement, and basic stock-control principles.
  • Strong awareness of health and safety requirements in a warehouse setting and the ability to promote and enforce safe work practices.
Knowledge, Skills, & Experience
  • Previous supervisory or lead experience in a warehouse or distribution environment, ideally supporting food and beverage or hospitality operations.
  • Experience in a large warehouse setting (stadium, arena, convention centre, or similar) is an asset.
  • Familiarity with unionized environments and understanding of the boundaries between supervisory duties and bargaining unit work.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food safety standards; food handler certification is an asset.
  • Comfort with basic inventory systems and standard office applications used for tracking, reporting, and communication.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the event schedule.
Physical Demands
  • Frequent standing and walking on the warehouse floor and in storage areas for the duration of shifts while observing and supervising activities.
  • Frequent visual and auditory monitoring of staff, equipment, and product movement to ensure safety and accuracy.
  • Occasional bending, reaching, and handling of documents, tools, or light items associated with supervisory and inspection duties, in accordance with CBA expectations.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds when required for safety reasons, training demonstrations, or emergency situations, and as permitted under the applicable collective agreement.
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate radios, computers, and communication tools and to review inventory and shipping/receiving records.
  • Frequent speaking and hearing to communicate with warehouse staff, drivers, and other departments in a busy warehouse environment.
