We are seeking a dedicated RN/LPN Weekend Manager to oversee clinical operations during weekend shifts. This leadership role requires a highly skilled nursing professional with extensive experience in the Skilled Nursing setting.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong management capabilities, exceptional patient care skills, proficiency with electronic health record systems, and the ability to prioritize tasks. As Weekend Manager, you will coordinate clinical staffing changes, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations like HIPAA and State regulations, and maintain high standards of patient safety and quality care.
*Responsibilities*
* Cart work Sat-Sun 7-3; Additional in house support 3-7 sat-Sun
* Supervise and coordinate clinical staffing changes such as call-outs during weekend shifts
* Oversee patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, and physical examinations supporting overall patient wellbeing
* Manage medication administration and resident treatments as needed
* Ensure accurate medical documentation using PCC
* Conduct diagnostic evaluations including laboratory experience and medical imaging coordination
* Lead infection control protocols and implement infection prevention strategies in compliance with healthcare standards
* Maintain readiness for emergency situations involving airway management, ventilator use, or acute pain management
* Other tasks as they apply to facility operations and resident care/ safety
*Qualifications*
* Valid RN or LPN license with current state license required (we can support license transfer as needed)
* Prefer a minimum 2 years experience in Nursing, preferably in Long Term Care/ geriatrics
* Proven leadership or nurse management experience with supervising responsibilities preferred
* Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as PCC or other
* Excellent communication skills for team coordination and patient interactions
* Commitment to maintaining regulatory compliance and infection control standards

This role will require some level of flexibility based on the needs of the building each weekend, however the ideal weekend schedule would be as follows:
*Sat and Sunday:*
7-3 in direct care and staff support; 3-7 in house for clinical/ operations support
On-call continues during off-hours (offers additional Baylor hours and on-call stipend for these duties
_If a candidate were seeking FT hours worked, the candidate could additionally work Friday evenings 3-9 or 11 in Direct care_
*Weekend Baylor Program for this role*: Work x2 12 hour shifts, receive x6 hours Baylor pay, x6 hours on call pay, plus opportunity to clock any additional time as spent supporting staff; This manager has the opportunity to take every 8th weekend off if desired
_All candidates must have a valid _Nursing _license and successfully pass a federal, state and child/ adult registry check prior to start; All offers are contingent upon successful documentation of these._
Pay: $31.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32.0 per week
