Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Inventory Control Specialist to manage stock integrity at our Cincinnati, Ohio facility. This role is essential for optimizing inventory levels, minimizing losses, and ensuring the accuracy of our supply chain. You will be responsible for implementing and overseeing inventory control procedures, conducting regular audits, and analyzing stock data to identify trends and discrepancies. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure data accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.
  • Implement and refine inventory control procedures to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Monitor stock levels, identify potential shortages or overages, and recommend adjustments.
  • Manage the organization and layout of warehouse inventory for optimal accessibility and safety.
  • Track the movement of inventory throughout the facility, ensuring proper documentation.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify patterns, forecast needs, and improve stock management strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to all Safety protocols and proper handling of materials, including appropriate PPE usage.
  • Train and guide warehouse personnel on inventory control best practices.
  • Generate comprehensive inventory reports for management, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
  • Support the broader Logistics team in maintaining efficient operations.
  • Handle tasks involving Lifting and moving inventory as part of audits or reorganization.

Skills & Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of Logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Understanding of Safety best practices in a warehouse setting.
  • Experience with physical inventory counts and reconciliation.
  • Familiarity with safe Lifting techniques.
