Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Associate in Washington, D.C.! We are seeking motivated individuals to contribute to the efficient operation of our Logistics facility. This role is fundamental to ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment for our diverse clientele. You will engage in a variety of tasks, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping merchandise. Responsibilities:
- Accurately receive, sort, and store incoming inventory.
- Pick products from warehouse shelves based on order requirements.
- Pack orders carefully and efficiently to ensure product integrity during transit.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling, manifest preparation, and staging.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks, and potentially forklifts (training available).
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to all Safety guidelines.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and participate in cycle counts.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and process orders.
- Follow all company protocols for the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Perform tasks involving the Lifting and movement of goods, utilizing proper techniques to prevent injury.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets and improve processes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior warehouse or distribution experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Ability to perform physical activities, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Basic understanding of Logistics principles and warehouse flow.
- Willingness to learn and operate warehouse machinery.
- Commitment to upholding Safety standards at all times.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
