Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against documentation.
- Stock merchandise accurately in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick items for customer orders using pick lists or scanning devices.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for transit.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, ensuring all labels and documentation are correct.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred.
- Ability to lift and maneuver items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in task completion.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be willing to wear required PPE for safety.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles is advantageous.
- Commitment to following all safety regulations is paramount.
