Responsibilities:
- Accurately picking items from shelves according to order specifications.
- Verifying product identification and quantities.
- Packaging items safely and efficiently for shipment.
- Applying shipping labels and preparing packages for dispatch.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workstation.
- Performing regular inventory checks within your assigned area.
- Adhering to all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
- Meeting established productivity and quality standards.
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure efficient order fulfillment.
- Reporting any stock discrepancies or equipment malfunctions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret pick tickets and product information.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance metrics.
- Physical ability to perform lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Willingness to adhere to safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic understanding of logistics and warehouse procedures.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
This role requires constant movement, standing, and walking, as well as the ability to handle frequent lifting. Safety is our top priority, and adherence to all safety regulations, including the mandatory use of PPE, is expected. Your role is fundamental to our logistics success.
