We are actively recruiting for a Warehouse Worker to join our bustling logistics team in Chicago, Illinois. This role is integral to our supply chain, ensuring that goods are handled efficiently and safely from arrival to dispatch. Responsibilities:
- Perform general warehouse duties including receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment.
- Accurately pick and pack items according to order specifications.
- Prepare products for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification required for forklifts).
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse floor, shelves, and workstations.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stocktaking.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles.
- Follow all safety protocols rigorously, including the use of PPE.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or manual labor experience is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
- Must be capable of consistent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with basic logistics and warehouse operations is a plus.
- Detail-oriented and committed to accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
- Willingness to adhere to all safety standards and wear required PPE.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Working Conditions:
This position operates within a high-traffic warehouse. Responsibilities involve significant physical activity, including frequent lifting and movement of goods. A strong emphasis is placed on safety, and all employees must strictly adhere to safety guidelines and wear their assigned PPE. Your role is vital to the overall success of our logistics.
