We are seeking motivated and reliable Picker/Packers to join our dynamic logistics team in San Diego, California. As a Picker/Packer, you will play a crucial role in our order fulfillment process, ensuring that customer orders are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for shipment. Your attention to detail will be paramount in maintaining our high standards of service.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order sheets.
- Package items securely and efficiently, ensuring they are protected during transit.
- Label packages with appropriate shipping information.
- Operate scanning equipment to track inventory and update order status.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure the accuracy of picked and packed items.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, such as stocking and replenishment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking/packing role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to read and understand order sheets and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, including safety vests and gloves.
- Must be able to perform frequent lifting of up to 30-50 lbs.
- Understanding of basic logistics and warehouse operations is a plus.
Working Conditions:
This role requires physical activity in a warehouse setting. You will be on your feet for most of your shift, performing tasks that involve bending, reaching, and lifting.
