Join our team in Boise, Idaho, as a Forklift Operator. This position is essential for managing the movement of materials within our warehouse and ensuring the efficiency of our logistics operations. You will be responsible for safely operating forklifts to load and unload goods, transport inventory, and support various warehouse functions. A meticulous approach to Safety, equipment maintenance, and adherence to all company policies is expected. You will be a critical part of our operational success, contributing to a productive and secure work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move palletized and non-palletized materials.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments efficiently.
- Transport inventory to and from storage areas, production lines, and shipping docks.
- Conduct daily pre-operation checks on forklifts and report any maintenance needs.
- Assist with inventory management, including put-away and retrieval tasks.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, ensuring compliance with Safety regulations.
- Wear and maintain all required PPE throughout the shift.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
Certified and experienced Forklift Operator with a proven track record. Ability to handle moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs) when required. Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse Safety best practices and procedures. Experience in logistics or distribution environments is advantageous. Must be able to work independently and as part of a cohesive team. Strong observational skills and attention to detail. Ability to stand, sit, and operate machinery for extended periods. Reliability and a commitment to quality are key.
