We are looking for an efficient Order Picker to join our warehouse team in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will be instrumental in retrieving specific items from our inventory to fulfill customer orders accurately and promptly. Your primary focus will be on navigating the warehouse, identifying correct products, and preparing them for the packing and shipping departments. This position requires precision, speed, and a thorough understanding of warehouse operations within our logistics network. We prioritize a secure and productive work environment, emphasizing adherence to all safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately locate and retrieve items from designated warehouse locations according to picking lists.
- Verify product identification and quantities before bringing items to the staging area.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, or other equipment as required to move merchandise.
- Ensure picked items are staged correctly for the next stage of order fulfillment.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area, promoting efficient workflow.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and stock checks.
- Wear and maintain appropriate PPE for warehouse operations.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily picking goals and ensure on-time order processing.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous. Must be able to handle repetitive Lifting and carrying of products. A strong commitment to workplace Safety and following established procedures is essential. Basic understanding of warehouse logistics is helpful. Must be able to work at a steady pace and meet performance metrics. Ability to read and interpret pick lists and product labels. Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes. Standing and walking for extended periods are required.
