Seeking an energetic Picker/Packer for our St. Clair Shores, Michigan location. As a Picker/Packer, you will be a crucial part of our logistics operations, responsible for accurately gathering and preparing customer orders for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately locate and retrieve products based on order slips.
- Inspect products for any defects or damage before packing.
- Package items carefully to ensure they arrive safely at their destination.
- Apply correct shipping labels and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the packing and picking areas.
- Operate manual warehouse equipment as needed.
- Follow all company Safety regulations and guidelines strictly.
- Properly use all mandated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience in order picking or packing is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to perform consistent Lifting of products weighing up to 30 lbs.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and bend throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other team members.
- Willingness to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic logistics environment.
- Adherence to all Safety procedures.
