As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for locating, retrieving, and preparing items for shipment. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that our customers receive their orders promptly and correctly. You will work in a dynamic warehouse environment, requiring constant movement, bending, and reaching. The ability to lift items weighing up to 40 lbs is necessary for this position. We prioritize a safe working atmosphere and expect all team members to follow established safety guidelines and utilize the provided personal protective equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders based on pick lists or scanning devices.
- Locate items within the warehouse efficiently.
- Pack picked items securely for shipment.
- Verify order accuracy before dispatch.
- Maintain an organized and clean picking area.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety regulations and procedures.
- Utilize required PPE at all times.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to a supervisor.
- Contribute to meeting daily order fulfillment targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is beneficial.
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Capacity to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure order accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines and wear PPE.
