Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer order items from warehouse locations using order sheets or scanning technology.
- Inspect products for any defects or damages prior to packaging.
- Select appropriate packing materials and methods to ensure product **safety** during transit.
- Package orders neatly and efficiently, meeting quality standards.
- Apply shipping labels and any other necessary documentation to packages.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Adhere strictly to all **safety** regulations and **PPE** requirements.
- Meet or exceed productivity goals for picking and packing.
- Assist with inventory tasks, such as cycle counting, as needed.
- Support overall warehouse **logistics** by ensuring timely order completion.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a warehouse, order fulfillment, or similar role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret order information accurately.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Capability for frequent **lifting** of items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Must wear required **PPE**, including safety shoes and vests.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Understanding of basic **logistics** flow.
- A strong focus on workplace **safety** is essential.
