We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our logistics operations in San Antonio, Texas. This role is essential for managing the inbound and outbound flow of goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all shipments. You will be responsible for processing incoming deliveries, preparing outgoing orders, and maintaining accurate inventory records. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders or invoices.
- Accurately document all received goods and update inventory records in the system.
- Prepare, pack, and label outgoing shipments according to specifications and carrier requirements.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles using appropriate material handling equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping and receiving area.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts (if certified) and pallet jacks safely.
- Conduct regular inventory cycle counts and assist with full physical inventories.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and basic computer skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and order processing.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
- A strong commitment to workplace safety.
