We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic logistics team in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include receiving, unpacking, stocking, and preparing goods for shipment. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming inventory, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders.
- Accurately sort, label, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Fulfill customer orders by accurately picking items from shelves and preparing them for packing and shipping.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, ensuring aisles are clear and equipment is stored properly.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in inventory counts and stock checks as required.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent standing, walking, bending, and kneeling.
- Must be comfortable with lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of inventory management principles.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to guidelines.
