This dynamic role is essential for the efficient functioning of our warehouse, encompassing a wide range of tasks from receiving and stocking to order fulfillment and shipping. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will be instrumental in managing the flow of goods through our supply chain, ensuring accuracy and timely processing. You will collaborate with a dedicated team, contributing to overall productivity and operational excellence. A commitment to workplace Safety and the proper utilization of PPE is fundamental to this role. The position involves significant physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, and frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and verify incoming inventory.
- Stock shelves and organize inventory in designated areas.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, including labeling and documentation.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and proficiently (e.g., pallet jacks).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Conduct inventory counts and assist with discrepancy resolution.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and Safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE .
- Contribute to team goals and operational improvements.
- Support other warehouse functions as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, and frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is beneficial.
- Understanding of Logistics and supply chain processes.
- Dedication to workplace Safety and proper use of PPE .
